The Ideal Choice

A strong, growing economy, terrific location and increasing local affluence leading to strong demand for good property are just a few of the reasons why we love Romania.

Terrific Location

Covering 237,500 sq km, oval-shaped Romania is larger than Hungary and Bulgaria combined (it is about half the size of France). The Danube River flows through – or forms a part of the borders of – ten countries and completes its 2850-km course here in Romania’s Danube Delta and the Black Sea. Lying at the crossroads of the major links of communication between the Western and Eastern worlds, Romania has always been in an important geopolitical zone for the stability of the whole continent.

Romania already has a well-developed railway network that covers virtually the whole country, making it easy and inexpensive to get around the country. Romania is also a member of Inter Rail, which connects the country to many of the larger European cities. There are numerous scheduled flights to Romania from a dozen or so Western countries; and with a single plane change, from a great many more.

Romania also boasts extensive sea and river routes and facilities. Constanta is the largest port on the Black Sea, and the completion of the Rhine-Main-Danube canal provides uninterrupted water access from the Black Sea to the North Sea.
